On the occasion of “The Venice Glass Week", the Lab for Analysing Materials of Antique origin (LAMA) of the IUAV University of Venice, will present the preliminary results of specific chemical analysis, started two years ago on colored glass samples produced by the glassworks Cappellin and Venini. The laboratory's research, were carried out using non-invasive and non-destructive analytical techniques on more than 300 colored pigments conserved within the Centre. This study is part of a broader project aimed at enhancing Murano artistic glass and supported by Pentagram Stiftung.
