“My recent Glass works are about the
relationship between order and chaos. I want to bring the grace and subtlety of "Venetian" Glass art into my art world; the sensitivity of Renaissance man towards nature. That is why I have used Venetian motifs for my current works.”


Péter Borkovics DLA (b. Hungary, 1971) attended the University of Applied Arts, Budapest and was awarded a Degree in Glass and Ceramic Design in 1994, MD in Glass Design in 1995 and PhD in liberal arts in 2003;
Since 2018 he has been a senior lecturer at the Hungarian University of Art and Design (MOME) - Glass Design and 2020 DLA Doctor of Liberal Arts / Summa Cum Laude / MOME.
