In its eleventh edition, the Glass in Venice Award, promoted by the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti and the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia to enhance the heritage of glass art, will see the glass technician Guido Ferro and the international artist Giorgio Vigna awarded.
Guido Ferro is currently active in the Yalos Murano glass factory. He is engaged in the search for ecological glass, with the intention of eliminating harmful products.
Giorgio Vigna is an artist who, on the borderline between reality and imagination, creates natural forms capable of manifesting primary and primordial aspects. His works reflect the breadth and depth of his constant pursuit.

Participation in the ceremony is reserved for invited guests.
