Lecture given by Professor Antonio Matos

This lecture will focus on the use of glass in art, craft and science. A small introduction will be made about the role of the glass in discoveries that contributed to our civilization. This talk will be mainly focused on the light and the glass colour and how artists use them to make their works. Examples of works made in Venice by several artists and other countries all over the world will be shown. More than 50 photos of many artists’ works will be presented.
