Future Venetians

Event organised by Associazione Culturale Spiazzi Isolab

In collaboration with Gaetano di Gregorio

The works of Slovakian artist Benjamin Podoba, based for five years in Murano, transport the inhabitants of Venice into a future of adaptation, to new climatic conditions, just as adaptation speaks of the Cyprus Pavilion, which imagines a new settlement on Mars, taking its cue from the island's Neolithic villages. Masks, helmets, explorers' suits are the leitmotif of the two exhibitions, one housed in the other, both unseen.
