Franco Beraldo (1944) began working with Murano glass in the early 2000s and continues to carry out a constant exploration of materials, thereby evolving his artistic language and contributing through his research to keeping the tradition of Venetian artistic glass alive. He has won the Murano Prize twice in the "furnace" category, has exhibited abroad on several occasions, and recently at the Civic Museums of Venice, the Museums of Padua (with a site-specific glass installation at the San Rocco Oratory), and at the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation in Venice during The Venice Glass Week 2024.
