Shapes from fire: Venetian Glass in the Galleria d'Arte Moderna Carlo Rizzarda. The Nasci - Franzoia Collection

Event organised by Musei Civici di Feltre

The Nasci-Franzoia Venetian glass collection was inaugurated on 8th of May 2021 at the Galleria d’Arte Moderna “Carlo Rizzarda”. It’s a set of nearly more than 800 objects, which was personally put together with great passion in more than thirty years by the consorts Carla Nasci and Ferruccio Franzoia, pupil of Carlo Scarpa.
The lecture, held by the director of the civic museums of Feltre, has not only the purpose of promoting a collection composed of pieces made by the most prominent Murano glass factories of the twentieth century, but also aims to show how this recent donation was an enrichment coherent with the context of the museum where it is now displayed and treasured.
