There will be fifteen artists of contemporary glass art who will represent Italy, our national production with works, installations and jewels. The 1st International Brazilian Glass Art Exhibition will be part of the events at the official festival “The Venice Glass Week 2024”, which takes place in September in Venice, Murano and Mestre, Italy. The festival, one of the most emblematic in the world, is part of the calendar of major events in the Veneto and welcomes almost 200 thousand people every year, conferences, exhibitions and work in the Murano furnaces.
For 2024, with the aim of showcasing Brazilian talent and creativity, the following artists and organizations have been selected: Andreia Almeida, Araucaria PR, Cristina Duarte, Belo Horizonte MG, Cristina Yamada, Curitiba PR, Désirée Sessegolo, Curitiba PR , Elvira Schuarts, São Paulo, SP Fundição Guará, Matinhos PR, Jaque Nolêto, Porto Alegre RS, Luciana Fonseca, Curitiba PR, Mãozinha Verde Arte Urbana, Curitiba PR, Marcia Pietrobon, Rio Claro SP, Mariana Gusmão, São Paulo SP, Marisete Tesser, Santa Maria RS, Paula Bersch, Rio de Janeiro RJ, Regina Lara, San Paolo SP, utto Gasparetto, Guarapuava PR, VeraLu, Curitiba PR, Vera Orsini San Paolo SP.
The exhibition will represent national artistic production through techniques of vitrofusion, blown glass, fusion and even microwave fusion.
