The Committee for the Safeguarding of Venetian Glass Bead Art, with Holly Parr, a British artist specializing in the art of glass bead flowers, presents, thanks to the support of the Vittorio Cini Archive Foundation and the hospitality provided by Bottega Cini, a workshop dedicated to the basic techniques for creating glass seedbead flowers, a very ancient Venetian art. The number of participants in the hands-on workshop is limited by mandatory reservation, but those who simply wish to observe are welcome, subject to the venue's capacity.
Holly Parr is exhibiting one her project at Palazzo Loredan as part of the TVGW 2025 Over 35 Hub. Her commitment to the transmission of art and the sharing of diverse technical and cultural approaches has led her to collaborate with the CPVV Committee with the aim of safeguarding, promoting, and exchanging the international cultural heritage of the "Art of the Glass Bead," a UNESCO ICH recognized element since 2020.
