On the occasion of the 10th° edition of The Venice Glass Week, the direction of Bottega Cini in collaboration with the Committee for the Safeguarding of the Art of Venetian Glass Pearls (CPVV), proposes the photographic exhibition by the artist Mattia Gaido entitled "Pearls of Light", The Glass Pearl as a Microcosm of a Community Resilience, a project dedicated to the birth of glass beads as an expression of the life and passion of the artisans who imagine and create them. An art that flourished in Venice and then spread throughout the world since the times of the Serenissima, since 2020 registered on the Representative List of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
On display are portraits of Venetian art practitioners, their work environment, materials, and works by the photographed artists.
