Emersions, refractions, reflections. Traces of humanity among identity, otherness, exclusion, and integration in the work of Nikola Grozdanov and Claudia Virginia Vitari

Event organised by / a cura di Roberto Mastroianni

On the occasion of the first edition of “The Italian Glass Weeks”, an exhibition curated by Roberto Mastroianni arises from the poetic dialogue of two artists using glass as their primary expressive medium and giving form to complex semiotic and narrative devices of an iconic nature. A Bulgarian artist, residing in Italy (Nikola Grozdanov), and an Italian artist, residing in Germany (Claudia Virginia Vitari), thus give life to a conversation centering on the political and anthropological nature of the construction of identity and otherness within a social theatre traversed by migrations and conflicts generated by this phase of globalized late-modernity.
