Where ideas converge, knowledge grows: the book brings together forgotten terms from the Murano glassmaking tradition and vocabulary emerging from the latest innovations. The word “glass” thus reveals its plural nature: an ancient material and an open field of experimentation, technologies, production cultures, and visions.
The Dictionary of Future Glass is edited by Maria Antonia Barucco and Elti Cattaruzza, with contributions by Ed Schmid. Anteferma Edizioni, 2026.
