The vase was born with the idea that the object represents the characteristic features of the Saudi landscape with the sinuosity of the rocks and the cavernous ravines lined by the winds and the corrosive action of time and the sun, in a harmonious game. Even the chosen colors, amber and caramel, speak of the chromatic variations of this changing landscape with the changing solar illumination.
Danilo De Rossi (Italy, 1954) has been practicing the profession of architect and designer in Venice since the 1980s, and the proximity of the lagoon has developed an ever-increasing affinity with the artistic production of glass and therefore of decorative objects and lighting.
