Friday, 19 September at 5 p.m., Craft Terror. Technique Out of Control, a meeting with designer Martí Guixé and master glassmaker Massimo Lunardon, leading figures in the international contemporary design and craft scene, during which the video documentary Craft Terror (Inga Knölke, 2014), a manifesto project of “creative obstruction”, in which the traditional process of glass blowing is reinterpreted in an ironic and performative key.

Alongside the two protagonists, Cristina Beltrami, art historian and curator, and Jean Blanchaert, curator and gallery owner, both members of the Scientific Committee of The Venice Glass Week, will offer their perspectives. Their contributions will guide the audience to a broader understanding of the project, highlighting its cultural value, historical references and significance within the contemporary debate on creativity and production processes.
