Continuing the path started by Alessia Fuga in 2021 through the reproduction of spontaneous seedlings, the “Respira. Ikebana di lagoon” which, again through the strong symbolism expressed by the nature of wild herbs and flowers, opens up to a new, more personal chapter of rebirth and celebration.
Plants such as salicornia, limonium, marine alfalfa, rush, etc. are in the eyes of anyone who has lived in the Venice lagoon and evoke memories, smells, sounds and images shared but probably experienced in a different and personal way.
This new collection wants to celebrate the uniqueness of a natural place, the way in which it survives the exploitation and strong pressure to which it has been, and is, subjected and the complexity of the lives it has seen pass by.
