The Bottle of Trust is an object designed to be given away by the Municipality of Umea, in the North of Sweden. Research has shown that Umea is one of the most trusting places in the world. And trust is a peculiar thing, the more you give it away, the more you receive. The City of Umea is happy to share.
The bottle invites the receiver to pass it on, with a secret inside, multiplying the trust along the way. The Bottle of Trust has been designed by Jeroen Peters, Maria Claudia Coppola, Ambra Trotto. One exemplar has been donated to the Swedish Minister of Culture. The other existing exemplar will be shown in Murano during “The Venice Glass Week".
