BOTANICA ADRIATICA is a project by Michela Cattai created with master glassmaker Andrea Zilio. The skill of the Master's manual gesture puts the artist's creative idea into shape. A synthesis that involves the 'know-how' of the blown glass tradition of Murano and its marine territory of the upper Adriatic. The execution of the creative project, which sees organic and natural forms - takes into account the biodiversity of the territory.

Michela Cattai (b. Italy, 1965) founded Galleria ART+DESIGN in Milan in 1991, focusing on historical Italian art and design. Her study of historical glass leads her to create her own experiments and to present her collections in exhibitions such as Miami/Design Basel, FOG San Francisco, SOFA Chicago, among others. In 2019 she was appointed the position of Art Director for Venini, to then devote herself completely to her work as an independent artist in 2023.
