An Island in Holland

Event organised by Palazzo Contarini Polignac

In collaboration with The Music Circles Festival

On the occasion of Homo Faber and The Venice Glass Week, Palazzo Contarini Polignac collaborates with The Music Circles to offer a programme around space, sound and contemporary craftsmanship.

Within Giovanna Codogno's scenography, each concert illuminates a work of art: on 13th September, Mozart resonates with Lorenz Boegli's screenprint, photographed by Kenta Umemoto; on 14th September, music blooms among the creations of Simone Crestani and Juliana Stolberg taking up the theme of The Venice Glass Week at Palazzo Contarini Polignac: The Netherlands and Tulips.

A concert inspired by the exhibition's floral creations, featuring Jérémie Moreau, Léon Blekh and Alexander Warenberg, followed by a cocktail reception in Simone Crestani's exhibition as part of The Venice Glass Week at Palazzo Contarini Polignac

A rare early Renaissance palace attributed to Giovanni Buora, Palazzo Contarini Polignac dazzles with its marble façade. Once home to Princess Winnaretta de Polignac's legendary salon, it hosted Stravinsky, Smyth and Europe's musical avant-garde.
