The Inauguration of Attunement marks the second chapter of Amy Revier’s residency at CASA YALI. Expanding her practice from sculpture and weaving into hand-blown glass, Revier develops a new body of work inspired by a 1st-century Roman unguentarium, still sealed and believed to preserve one of the world’s oldest intact perfumes.

Developed in dialogue with archaeologists, a Murano glassblower, and curator Marina Marques, the project introduces a conceptual scent as an immaterial extension of the work. The opening will include guided walkthroughs with the artist and curator, the launch of the residency publication, and drinks in the garden.
