Exhibition of the cycle of works by Penzo+Fiore "Botanica Alchemica", on the ground floor of their new Bright Home Gallery in Murano. The exhibition room, adjacent to the garden, constitutes an selection of glass, drawings and photographs that create an imagery capable of contaminating glassmaking tradition, nature and ancestral symbols. Alchemical Botany is a work made of nature, anthropomorphic elements, symbols, emergences of a psychological and primordial world, archetypal images. The ritual is made possible by the sense of magic, which permeates the glass and ready-made objects. The technique used comes from an ancient Murano tradition, linked to the feminine, fire and silk. The meaning of Alchemical Botany is all in the border that separates and unites the sacred and earthly worlds.
