On the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, LE STANZE DEL VETRO presents 1932–1942 Murano Glass and the Venice Biennale, curated by Marino Barovier. Finally, from 16th to 18th September at Palazzo Franchetti, the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti will organise the Venetian Glass Study Days, a longstanding seminar series designed for glass experts from across Europe and the United States, including museum curators, scholars, collectors, restorers and glass artists.
