The Venice Glass Week is an international Festival founded in 2017 to celebrate, support and promote the art of glassmaking: the artistic and economic activity for which the Lagoon City of Venice has been renowned around the world for over 1,000 years. The tenth edition of the Festival will take place around Venice, Mestre and Murano from 12th to 20th September 2026.
The Venice Glass Week is organised and promoted by an Organising Committee that includes Comune di Venezia, Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, LE STANZE DEL VETRO – Fondazione Giorgio Cini and Pentagram Stiftung, Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti and Consorzio Promovetro Murano.
The tenth edition of the Festival takes place from 12th to 20th September 2026.

During the Festival (12th–20th September), printed maps are available from the Festival Information Tent in Campo Santo Stefano, Venice (10am–6pm) and from the Festival Information Point in Piazzale Colonna, Murano (10am–2pm).

All applications are carefully reviewed by a Curatorial Committee chaired by Rosa Barovier Mentasti and composed of a panel of international glass experts: Nina Alessandri, Cristina Beltrami, Jean Blanchaert, Rainald Franz, Mikkel Hammer Elming, Susanne Jøker Johnsen and Cristina Tonini.
